How do API credits work?
An API credit is the simple metered unit of consumption. Different operations take different amounts of computing power: a lightweight autocomplete search query costs 1 credit, an address verification costs 3 credits, and a full rooftop geocoding resolution costs 5 credits. You only pay for what you actually use.
How does the pay-as-you-go billing model work?
Every workspace receives 1,000 free API credits each month. If your usage exceeds this free allowance, you are billed at a flat rate of $10 per 100,000 additional credits at the end of the billing cycle. There are no setup fees, no monthly base fees, and no lock-in contracts.
Can I set monthly spending caps and budget alerts?
Yes. To ensure predictable costs, you can configure hard and soft monthly spend limits inside your Billing dashboard. We send email notifications when your workspace reaches 80% and 100% of your soft limit. If a hard budget limit is reached, subsequent requests return an informative quota notification until adjusted.
Can we clean and standardize historical databases in bulk?
Yes. Through our Batch Processing dashboard, you can upload CSV files containing thousands or millions of customer address records. The platform processes them asynchronously, standardizing every row, appending missing postal zones, and exporting clean datasets.
